These terms govern the use of theshadaybakery.com and the orders you place with The Shaday Bakery. By placing an order you accept these terms, so please read them.

1. Who we are

The Shaday Bakery is a Cuban bakery located at 2340 Prairie Pkwy SW, Wyoming, Michigan 49519, United States. Phone and WhatsApp: (616) 889-0061. Email: ramosyaiamara@gmail.com.

2. Our products

All our products are homemade and made to order. The photos on the website are for reference: because everything is handmade, decoration, color and size may vary slightly from the picture. Some flavors, fillings or products may not be available on certain days.

Custom cakes are priced according to the design. Message us and we will give you a price before confirming it.

3. Allergens

Our kitchen uses wheat, eggs, milk, soy, tree nuts and other ingredients that can cause allergies. Although we are careful, we cannot guarantee that any product is free of traces. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please ask us before placing your order.

4. How orders work

  • When you submit your order on the website, you are sending us an order request. It is confirmed once we confirm it by WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • We recommend ordering one or two days in advance, because everything is made fresh.
  • If we cannot fulfill your order on the day or time you chose, or if a product is not available, we will contact you to offer another option or cancel it at no cost to you.
  • Our hours are every day from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). If any tax applies under Michigan law, it will be shown in your order.

We do not charge anything online. You pay when you pick up or receive your order, in cash or with Zelle. If you pay with Zelle, payment must be made at the time of pickup or delivery.

For large orders or custom cakes we may ask for a deposit, which we will agree on with you when confirming the order.

6. Store pickup

You can pick up your order at 2340 Prairie Pkwy SW, Wyoming, MI 49519, on the day and at the time you chose. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know as soon as possible.

7. Home delivery

  • We deliver in Wyoming and Grand Rapids at no extra cost, and to Holland for $20. At this time we do not deliver to other areas.
  • The delivery time is approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather or other causes beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for giving us a correct address and for having someone available to receive the order. If no one receives it, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery or a store pickup.

8. Changes and cancellations

You can change or cancel your order at no cost by letting us know at least 24 hours in advance. With less notice we may already be preparing it and may not be able to make changes. If a deposit was requested for a custom cake, we will explain when confirming it whether it is refundable.

If someone repeatedly places orders and does not pick them up or receive them, we may stop accepting their orders.

9. Complaints and returns

Because these are perishable foods, we do not accept returns once the order has been delivered. If there is a problem (a wrong, damaged or spoiled product), let us know within 24 hours with a photo and we will make it right by replacing the product or refunding what you paid for it. This does not limit any rights you have under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act.

10. Use of the website

Please use the website responsibly and do not place fake orders or attempt to interfere with how it works. The photos, logo and text belong to The Shaday Bakery and may not be used without our permission.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather or service outages.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Kent County, Michigan.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Orders already confirmed are governed by the terms in effect when you placed them.
